Deni Gerikhanov is an international real estate lawyer at Hatamatata. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Chechen State University and later completed a Master’s degree at Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL).
He specialises in the preliminary legal review of overseas properties and documents related to cross-border transactions. He works across Hatamatata’s markets in Europe and the Balkans, the Middle East and the Caucasus, Southeast Asia and the United States.
Deni reviews transaction structures, information about sellers and developers, property documents, reservation terms, preliminary agreements, sale and purchase agreements, and powers of attorney. He explains the procedures for paying a deposit, completing the financial settlement and registering ownership.
For international transactions, Deni works with licensed lawyers, notaries and registration specialists in the country where the property is located. He helps buyers formulate questions for local advisers, compare the documents received and identify provisions that require additional verification.
