Types of visas to Portugal
There are two main types of visas to enter Portugal: tourist visas and work visas.
Tourist visa
The tourist visa allows individuals to visit Portugal as tourists for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. To apply for a work visa, you will need to have an offer letter from an employer based in Portugal with details such as job title, salary information, etc., a valid passport with at least six months left to expire; proof of sufficient funds (if you are self-employed); proof that you have sufficient qualifications/experience to perform the intended work; health insurance; a criminal record certificate (if applicable); and l They will also need two passport-sized photographs taken no more than six months prior to the date of application.
