The founder of the company Karin Hitchcock since 2008 lives in Montenegro and has two citizenships: France and the UK. After graduating in 2002 from the University of the Sorbonne in the Business and Finance program, she spent several years in the jewelry business in London and Paris (2002-2005), and then moved to Montenegro. In 2009, Karin Hitchcock worked as the manager of the newly opened marina for the Porto Montenegro superyacht in Tivat. Then she started her own real estate development business Catareos and built the first complex of 12 luxury eco-friendly apartments Tivat Heights Residences on the hills overlooking Tivat Bay. She also founded an additional long-term rental company Rentals Montenegro to help a growing number of expats find accommodation to live in Montenegro. Thanks to her specialization in long-term rental housing for expats, Karin Hitchcock has become an indispensable expert. It was she who saw the demand for small apartments, which are still a rarity in the real estate market. Therefore, Karin Hitchcock launched the concept of “mini condominiums”. In the first building of mini-condominiums, 95% of apartments were sold before the start of construction work. At the moment, our company is preparing for the construction of a new project, where we will once again present a new product for the market – separately located houses that meet the principles of sustainable development. The new project is called “My Tiny House” and will be implemented in two cities of Montenegro: Kavach and Kolasin.
