10 locations in Belgrade - Pick up a check and win. Drawing on Saturday!

On Saturday, October 14, the first drawing of winners for the "Take a Receipt and Win" lottery will take place, Finance Minister Sinisha Mali announced on his Instagram. This is the first drawing for apartment winners in the second phase of the "Take a Receipt and Win" lottery. Only ten apartments in Belgrade will be drawn in five drawings, the ministry said.

The first phase of the lottery was successful last year, where 16-apartments and 60 houses near Belgrade were drawn. The "Take a Receipt and Win" lottery was launched as part of the fight against the shadow economy and to encourage the use of cashless payments.

To enter the lottery, participants must collect receipts for purchases and upload them to the official app. Each downloaded receipt provides one ticket for entry into the drawing. Thus, the number of receipts downloaded determines the chances of winning an apartment. The lottery has become popular among citizens and the new phase of the draw is also expected to attract a lot of public attention and increase the number of participants.

All winners will be publicized on the lottery's website and social media channels so that the results are transparent and publicly available to all. This initiative is an important step in stimulating legal payments and fighting the shadow economy in Serbia.
