12 лучших мест для приобретения дома на озере в США.

The lakes are the epitome of an American vacation. Regardless of which side you're on in the debate about the benefits of lakes or the ocean, there's no denying the fact that lakes provide a respite from our hectic lives at any time of year, providing an endless choice of water sports, idyllic scenery and cool breezes. And with a myriad of lakes stretching across the U.S., chances are you'll find natural or man-made options within a short drive from your home. It's no surprise that lakefront properties are becoming increasingly popular with investors. However, as demand rises, so do prices. That's why rental company Evolve has compiled a list of the best places to buy a lakefront home in 2023.

Evolve considered three main factors when evaluating the data:

median home value, expected annual expenses, and rental performance in lake home locations across the United States. "When determining the best places to buy a lakefront home, we look at locations that have benefits for both potential investors and future guests," said Louis Olds, director of real estate at Evolve, Travel + Leisure. "For investors, we offer Evolve Difference as a way to help lakefront homeowners maximize income and exceed the projected returns in the market.

Serenac Lake, New York

This historic town in the Adirondacks tops Evolve's list thanks to its affordable median home value ($250,190) and great rental potential ($25,294). Located in upstate New York and with proximity to several lakes, including Lake Placid, this charming town offers a diverse cultural scene with year-round events, markets and festivals, making it even more attractive to renters. In winter, the city becomes a popular skiing destination. Visitors can enjoy 15 acres of downhill ski slopes, also great for tubing and cross-country skiing.

Branson, Missouri

Branson is a magnet for vacationing couples and groups, offering plenty of activities for all ages including theme parks, live music and hundreds of miles of scenic shoreline thanks to Table Rock Lake. The relatively low cost of homes ($232,000) makes this a great option for investors looking for an affordable property with good rental potential (nearly $20,000 per year, according to Evolve).

Brainerd Lakes, Minnesota

The Brainerd Lakes area is located in the heart of Minnesota and is home to some of the state's most scenic lakes (something to consider if your nickname is "Land of 10,000 Lakes"). Water sports and fishing are popular in the area, as well as golfing on seven championship courses. The abundance of recreational opportunities in dozens of small towns pleases potential investors. Evolve experts say than country cabins and homes with patios, fire pits and grills enjoy better rental demand than other types of rental properties.
