This weekend, the Ocean's Eleven actor and his lover, a human rights lawyer, were spotted on the streets of the small village of Continjac, 20 miles from Brignoles, on the Côte d'Azur, where they recently purchased a gorgeous chateau. The couple, seen on a walk with their new St. Bernard puppy named Nelson, seemed familiar with the charming French village.
They visited a local art exhibit and dined at Picotte's Restaurant, a gourmet establishment serving local cuisine made from fresh and local produce.

The historic 18th-century estate features a swimming pool, tennis court, petanque court, huge gardens, ornamental lake, olive grove and 25-acre vineyard; space in abundance to raise their six-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, who can already speak three languages.
Laughing at Jimmy Kimmel's jokes, the “Guys in a Boat” star revealed that his children speak English, French and Italian, telling the talk show host, "I'm not a very smart person.

Clooney's idyllic French estate is just a 25-minute drive from Chateau Miraval, which was previously owned by George's close friend and fellow actor Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
Clooney's love of Europe has long been a common interest in their marriage.
