Leah's 2-year-old son Michelle is hospitalized for a frightening health problem.

Actress Lea Michele has asked the public for love and support in the wake of her 2-year-old son's serious health issues. In her Instagram story, the actress apologized to fans of the Broadway show "Funny Girl" for her absence from tonight's performances.

"Unfortunately I will be absent from tonight's @funnygirlbwy performance," she wrote. "We are currently in hospital with our son who needs support due to serious health issues and I have to be here for him.

In the post, the actress also asked followers to send her their love and strength. In a photo posted to Michelle's Instagram account, you can see her hand giving support to her son, as well as a stuffed animal lying nearby.

More' 'No information on the baby's condition has been released. Lea Michelle and her husband Zandy Reich married in March 2019 and had a son, Ever, in August 2020.

The official social media accounts for the "Funny Girl" show confirmed Michelle's absence from the matinee and evening performances on March 22, with Julie Benko taking the stage instead.
