73% of transactions at RE/MAX Portugal are done by Portuguese.


From July to September, foreign clients accounted for around 27% of all transactions in the Re/max Portugalreal estateagency network, among which clients from Brazil played a special role, consolidating itself as the main foreign nationality. In terms of the number of transactions, five Lisbon districts ranked in the top five nationally during this period, showing the capital's leadership, especially in the rental sector, where more than a fifth of all transactions in the network take place.
From July 1 to September 30, Re/max transacted with clients from 88 different countries, with particular emphasis on Brazilians (8.2%), Angolans (2.2%), Americans (1.5%), French and British (1.2% each). Customers from Portugal accounted for 73.3% of all transactions on the network during the period, continuing''be the most active in real estate among all clients in the network.
When it comes to specific property types, two-bedroom apartments (T2) were the most popular in the network, accounting for around 23% of all properties sold under the Re/max brand.
The number of agencies in the network has also increased compared to last year and now stands at 399 (+9), which the company says reflects the network's "increasing presence across the country". The number of consultants also continues to grow, reaching 11,962 at the end of September, a new high, according to the company.
