Many Serbs spend their vacations in Greece. Mostly in Halkidiki and the surrounding area. They cross the border in ten hours by car from Belgrade. Some have already bought apartments. According to Kurir, "In early 2014, the interest of Serbs in buying real estate in Greece, especially with a sea view, increased. Then, unlike in recent years, the cost per square meter was lower than in apartments in Belgrade, and depending on the location, two-bedroom apartments could be purchased for 40,000-50,000 euros. According to data from real estate search platforms, the center of Athens and the famous Halkidiki are the most sought after locations for property purchases by foreign buyers, with Kassandra, Sithonia, Kallikratesia, Moudanya being the most sought after. We have reviewed current listings and checked the availability of other properties in Greece priced between €30,000 and €50,000. In the last quarter of 2023, the average price per square meter in Halkidiki was 2193 euros, which is 12.1% more than in the same period of the previous year, when the price per square meter was 1957 euros.

If a buyer wants to buy a studio of 30 square meters in a new building in the area, he will have to pay up to 75,000 euros.
