One of the biggest benefits of real estate for institutional investors is their long-term faith in real estate's ability to protect real value during periods of elevated inflation. Indeed, real estate performance has outperformed inflation in six of the last seven inflationary periods, even in a rising interest rate environment.

Till the end of 2022, however, uncertainty has spread to the real estate market. Despite the negative sentiment, all indicators on the real estate exchange remain positive, even at the beginning of the year, and there is confidence that conditions will improve further in the second half of the year.
