Alex Blinker and Luke Pienson will release a book featuring stories from Bob Mold, Steve from PUP, and others.

Alex Bleeker, bassist for the band Real Estate, has announced the release of his first book. The book is called A Taste in Music: Eating While Touring with Indie Musicians and was co-written with food and travel writer Luke Pyenson, who previously played in Frankie Cosmos. The book features stories from musicians including Bob Mold, Chris Frantz of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, The Beths, Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz, Steve Sladkowski of PUP, Stephanie Phillips of Big Joanie and others. The book description reads, "In addition to reflections on eating while on tour, Pyenson and Bleeker have collected enlightening and thought-provoking stories that take place on five continents, in private homes and street eateries, in temples of fine dining and in actual temples, backstage and in the car, early in the morning and late at night.
