Free renter leaves shocking living conditions in Hong Kong after two years

A photo provided by a Facebook user named Sanook Boat Land recently drew attention to the deplorable state of one of his properties, which had been occupied for free by a relative for two years. When the relative suddenly disappeared without notice, it was discovered that she had left behind a room filled with trash. The horrifying picture only became apparent after her departure. Boat Land said... "My head hurts, how do you take responsibility for such destruction? She lived here for two years and never paid a baht. And then she leaves, leaving the problems on us. She never responded to my messages and just disappeared without accepting any responsibility."
"As soon as we were no longer useful, she removed us from her life. It's not a pleasant feeling. The worst part is that it's our home. We bought everything in that room. She lived here for free and still treated us like that. She's out of her mind. My younger sister (a friend of a relative) left on July 16. The next day, July 17, we found the room key on a hook. We decided to clean the room and what we saw shook us to the core.
Subsequently, the person who made the post revealed that the house is located in a township near Hon Kaen International Airport.
Two years ago, a relative of his girlfriend, known as Panda, asked to stay at the house while she looked for a job. Since there was a spare room, they agreed to let her stay. During those two years, communication between them was minimal. When Panda returned home, she would isolate herself in her room and try not to socialize with anyone else, as Sanook notes.
On July 16, Panda unexpectedly left the key to her room without alerting the man or his girlfriend. The next day they used the key to open her room and were met with a shocking and disgusting sight. The room was filled with mountains of trash consisting of cans, cardboard boxes, bags and plastic sacks standing at bed level. Even the dressing table was littered with used sanitary pads, indicating extremely poor living conditions.
They decided to hire someone to remove the trash from the room, and it proved to be a significant task. They had to get rid of over 50 large black bags of garbage, which required two trips by the municipality's garbage truck to remove it completely. The bedding in the room was also hopelessly ruined and had to be thrown away. They have been unable to contact Panda ever since. Despite living there for two years, she never made any contribution to the water and electricity bills.
Leaving the room in such a deplorable state was an extremely disrespectful act and they are impatient for Panda to contact them, discuss the situation and take responsibility for their actions.
