This was revealed by a new study conducted by the real estateagency Spitogatos, which was published this week.
The data collected by Spitogatos Insights based on 10,000 user reviews identified the neighborhoods in Athens that users rate as the safest and most comfortable.

There are also safe areas in Thessaloniki.

In other parts of Greece, the following regions were classified as safe:

- Alexandroupolis
- Corfu
As for the availability of public transport, the following areas in Athens received high ratings:
- Panormu
- Callithea

- Hilton area
- Fokionos Negri
- Agios Eleftherios
- Argyroupoli
In Thessaloniki – Nea Paralia, Agia Triada, and Martia. One of the biggest challenges for buyers is finding parking, especially in urban conditions. According to Spitogatos, the areas in Athens and Attica that received the most favorable reviews for parking are:

- Ana Iliupoli
- Glyphada
- Vrilissia
Access to parks, schools, markets, entertainment venues, as well as the development of infrastructure for pedestrians and pets, is also of great importance to buyers.
Meanwhile, the same study showed thatreal estate pricesin most of the mentioned areas, they vary from288,000to500,000 eurosfor an apartment with an area of 100 m² in a safe neighborhood, with access to public transport, schools, and parking spaces.
