Brookfield launches Emerging Markets Transition Fund with ALTERRA commitments, while investing in global fund; aid to climate initiatives - $20 billion'.
Altierra's largest climate investment fund has joined forces with Brookfield to create a multi-billion dollar catalyst for energy transformation.
Altierra has committed up to $1 billion to Altierra Transformation to provide significant additional capital to emerging markets and economies.
Altierra will also invest $2 billion in Brookfield Transition Fund II (BGTF II), which will invest in clean energy and help businesses in emissions-intensive sectors.
The fund will be managed by Brookfield and will receive up to $1 billion in catalyst funding from Altiera to provide high returns for commercially-oriented
