Bankinter estimates that housing prices in Portugal are expected to rise by 1.6% in 2023, and then fall by 2% in 2024 and 2025.

According to the latest forecasts from Bankinter, Euribor interest rates are expected to remain high in the coming years. This means that high interest rates should continue to dampen demand for home purchases and mortgages, which will affect prices, despite the limited supply of residential properties.

In this context, Bankinter predicts a clear decline in housing prices in 2023 (+1.6%), compared to a rise last year (+12.7%).
