BiH Presidency members met with Ursula von der Leyen
The European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, as part of her four-day visit to the Western Balkans, agencies report.
The European Commission chief plans to visit North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina during her Balkan tour.
While in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European Commission President will present the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, as well as the country's plan for accession to the European Union.
At her arrival in Sarajevo, she was met by Bosnia and Herzegovina's Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic.
Ursula von der Leyen then met with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Becirovic and Željka Cvijanovic.
On a subsequent visit, she will meet with the Chairwoman of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers, Borjana Krišto.
The visit will end with a ceremony to hand over new apartments for 27 families in Vogosha (Sarajevo Canton) who are participants in the Regional Housing Program, 80 percent funded by the European Union.
