CostaTerra is a luxury golf resort in the Hamptons of Portugal, where Harry and Meghan met Eugenie
The Portuguese resort of CostaTerra has been heavily condemned by locals.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no strangers to the world of famous places, from living in Montecito, home to many celebrities, to dating at Soho House and Tre Lune. And it looks like the Iberian Peninsula has become the new place where the royal couple spent their time, traveling to the Hamptons of Portugal to visit Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
The couple, who flew to Portugal after spending time in Düsseldorf for the Invictus Games, allegedly spent time at the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, a luxury resort an hour south of Lisbon on Portugal's picturesque Atlantic coast. The area has been dubbed "The Hamptons of Portugal" due to the love of celebrities, including George and Amal Clooney, who have reportedly been looking for homes in the area.
CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club is a luxury resort created by Discovery Land Company, which has already built 24 residences around the world. The resort offers a variety of amenities including a health center, equestrian center, community, 18-star golf course, 146 single-family homes and 29 residences. All of this is expected to be completed by next spring. The resort is also attracting attention for its green policies and describes itself as a "thriving community based on the values of sustainability".
The reviews of the resort on Google, however, leave much to be desired - many Portuguese are unhappy about foreign interference and the fact that locals can't afford such luxuries.
