Nini Leeks' house sold for $3.5 million four months after her husband Gregg's death.
Celebrity Nene Leakes has found a buyer for the mansion in Georgia that she used to share with her late husband, Gregg Leakes. Property records indicate that this Mediterranean-style mansion with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, located outside of Atlanta, is currently in the process of being sold.
The former star of the reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" originally posted a listing for the sale of her home for $4 million with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty agent Elaine Richardson in September, before lowering the price to $3.8 million in late October, and then to $3.495 million in mid-November.
According to TMZ, Nene Leakes bought this real estate property of around10,000 square feet in2015 for $2.1 million. She shared the reveal of her home with PEOPLE magazine in October2016. At the time, she mentioned choosing a "white and bright" interior style to contrast with her previous home. "I lived in a very traditional home, and I wanted something completely different," she said. "I decided to do a silver and white interior in this area because I wanted it to be open, bright, and beautiful," she added. "You can see my territory and the whole idea for it is a resort, so I want some of the open space to flow inside the house."
The main bedroom is fit for a star with chandeliers, a decorative stitched wall behind the headboard, ceiling windows, and a cozy seating area. The en-suite bathroom features a freestanding bathtub, shower, and double sink. There is also a huge walk-in closet. The glamorous decor continues on the first floor where there is a game room with two TVs and a pool table, a wine cellar and a bar with a club-style lounge area, an eight-seat movie theater, and a beauty salon converted from a bedroom. "Our basement is designed for parties and good times," Nina told PEOPLE magazine.
The appearance of the house creates a resort-like atmosphere with a spacious covered terrace, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi with fountains, sun loungers, and a separate area for outdoor dining. Additional advantages include a nearby country club with tennis courts and a golf course.
The sale of Nyn Lix's house came almost four months after the death of her husband Gregg on September 1. Last fall, the star told PEOPLE magazine about her final days with her beloved husband. "The last five days before he left were truly wonderful," she said. "All of his children were there.

Gregg, 66, passed away in their home in Atlanta after a four-year battle with colon cancer. As Nin was immersed in the feeling of loss, some of Gregg's last words brought her comfort: "I won't leave you. God bless you." She added, "He said he wanted me to continue my life."
The television personality also shared that Gregg made sure she and their 22-year-old son Brent would be taken care of, and he wrote them a letter explaining everything related to their estate. "It was hard," she admitted. "Gregg handled many things in our life. There were some things I didn't know - even simple things. I didn't even know who mowed the lawn."
Recalling her last moments with Gregg, Nene said: "I told him that I wouldn't choose another husband but him. I said, 'I married you twice, you crazy man.'" The former RHOA cast member married Gregg in 1997, divorced him in 2011, and reunited with him in 2013.

"I keep thinking that he went on a trip and will be back soon," she told PEOPLE magazine. "I'm still waiting for him to come home."
