A house for $2.2 million inspired by Disney's Frozen castle is for sale - take a look inside.
If you dare, foolish mortals! If you've ever dreamed of living inside Disneyland, now you have that opportunity — in a way. A replica of the Haunted Mansion has hit the market in Duluth, Georgia. The mansion, designed to resemble the iconic attraction at Disneyland, bears a striking resemblance to the ride itself, which dates back to 1969, right down to the cast iron details and the distinctive porch. It is located in the desirable Sweet Bottom area, along the Chattahoochee River.
And now there's that atmosphere of anticipation. According to the real estate website Zillow, the house could be yours for $2.2 million. This unique residential property is situated on .31 acres and has an area of 9,467 square feet, featuring 3 garages, 6 spooky rooms — or bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms — ghostly companions not included.
“Surrender to the magic of everyday life in a home that captures the whimsical essence of a Disney haunted house,” said Gail Laney of RE/MAX Around Atlanta, who currently holds this listing. “With meticulous craftsmanship, exquisite decor, and a thoughtfully designed floor plan created for both comfort and functionality, this unique residence promises to be more than just a home. It is an eternal masterpiece where magic and quality meet,” Laney added.
The Disney theme is mostly limited to the exterior, and a replica of the Haunted Mansion sign that can be found in the original attraction.
According to the description, "complex cast iron molds" are used from the Second Disney Park. The spacious outdoor area includes a private roof, a hot tub, and a dining table. The "Haunted Mansion" is located in a private gated community that includes access to a clubhouse, pool, playground, and other recreational activities. Final arrangements can be made through a realtor in the area, who can also accommodate viewing requests. This may be the closest you can get — for now — to the incredible attraction, as the Haunted Mansion is currently closed for extensive renovations focused on the exterior of the attraction. But don't worry, the famous facade will remain in place.
