The gorgeous mansion made famous by a spin-off of the popular Channel 4 show 'Escape to the Chateau' is up for sale - and you won't believe the price.
Viewers followed the efforts of Dick Strawbridge and Angelie Adore as they renovated their 19th-century home, Chateau de la Motte-Usson. And because it was so successful, an additional show was launched - 'Escape to the Chateau DIY' - in which the couple helped other families renovate their properties in France - and now one of them is up for sale.
Located in Saint-Maxin-la-Ecollier, in western France, the 15,000-square-meter building has many original features. It has nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms, as well as a guest' suite's home and its own British grocery store. The French mansion is located 30 minutes from the town of De Sèvres, Nior region.
Original features include exposed stone walls and stone staircases, beams, formations, a tower and two large vaulted cellars.
