Some time ago, the BBC took a fun step — they acquired the rights to all nine seasons of the show "Suits" to air reruns and stream it on their iPlayer platform. The show was successful during its original run on an American cable channel, but in recent years, its popularity on streaming services has skyrocketed. When all nine seasons of "Suits" were released on Netflix, it instantly became one of the most-watched shows of 2023. It turns out that everything the Duchess of Sussex touches turns to gold.

It's a funny story — do you know how Meghan signed a contract with Lemonada Media for her podcasting needs? The BBC became interested in this and also entered into an agreement with Lemonada Media. Today, the award-winning podcast network Lemonada Media and the BBC announced the launch of a brand new international podcast series. This partnership initiative offers listeners high-quality audio content, and current pop culture topics will be discussed in a friendly debate format as part of the new collaboration. The series will be hosted by experienced podcaster and interviewing expert Aminatou Sow, and it will debut this summer on all podcast platforms and BBC Sounds.

Pop Culture Debate Club

The "Pop Culture Debate Club" brings Aminat together with two guest stars each week, who will engage in a light-hearted discussion about what’s better—from the tastiest dishes on screen to the most realistic sports movies. Listeners will be able to laugh along with guests like Jane Marie, Dan Pashman, and Bomani Jones, cheering for their favorites.

Jessica Cordova KramerThe CEO of Lemonada Media comments: "It has been a true pleasure to collaborate with the brilliant team at BBC on creating a series that will bring joy to listeners around the world. Watching Aminat bring this creative vision to life with new guests each week is a real breath of fresh air."

Jonathan WallThe director of BBC Sounds adds: "We are excited to announce our collaboration with Lemonada to create a new engaging podcast about pop culture that we hope will resonate with listeners around the world. We are working with the best professionals in the field to strengthen our presence and reputation among new audiences, and we can't wait for them to hear this captivating show."

For a long time, I have been observing the narratives of the British media about Meghan, starting from the very beginning.

In 2017, they tried to convince everyone that "Suits" was not a serious drama, but a silly soap opera where Meghan wasn't even the main star. Just recently, the British press again tried to persuade the public that Meghan's deal with Lemonada was a huge step backward and that Lemonada is just a small company. Of course, we have also seen members of the royal family constantly trying to latch onto Meghan's success, attempting to capitalize on her popularity while pretending to support her in every endeavor. This is especially amusing because... the BBC is fully riding this wave, isn't it? "Oh, Meghan is involved—let's do the same!" Meghan is a true influencer, and she will probably never set foot on this island territory again.

The Reprezent program was founded 10 years ago in response to the rise in knife-related crime and is designed to help young people in their development and social integration through radio.

Despite the continuation of her career and influence, it is worth noting that she faces constant media attention, which perplexingly continues to follow her actions and achievements. It seems that regardless of her accomplishments, interest in Meghan's personality and her influence will only grow.
