Dwayne Rock Johnson buys a farm in Georgia for $9.5 million.
Purchase and description of property
A company from Georgia, associated with Mr. Johnson's business managers in Los Angeles, has purchased a cabin in Belle Mill for about $9.5 million, according to public records. Mr. Johnson, a 47-year-old former professional wrestler who later became an actor and producer, could not be reached for comment. The main house occupies 14,000 square feet and features eight bedrooms—an ideal space for Mr. Johnson's family of five.
Amenities for the Johnson family
The Johnson family also has access to a fully equipped stable with twelve stalls and a riding arena with a viewing deck. Among its old-world charm is the original 150-year-old farmhouse, which now serves as a caretaker's cottage, according to the listing.
Events related to the purchase
This sale took place a few months after "Fast and Furious" star Dwayne Johnson married his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, in Hawaii. The deal also occurred after the announcement in September that Mr. Johnson and his business partner and ex-wife Dany Garcia plan to hold their first fitness conference called "Athleticon" in Atlanta in October 2020.
