Two men planned for a large python to eat a woman's daughter before blowing up her house, police say.
In Bryan County, Georgia (WTOC/Gray News) - Two men from Georgia are accused of planting a bomb in a woman's house and plotting to release a python to eat her daughter. Authorities claim that 34-year-old Caleb Kinsey and 37-year-old Stephen Glosser conspired to stalk, threaten, harm, or kill the woman who owned the house, according to a report from WTOC.
Glosser and the victim reportedly met on a dating app, but their relationship eventually went off the rails, and they decided to block each other. At that point, Kinsey got involved. The men allegedly planned to shoot arrows at the victim's front door, send her dog feces or dead rats in the mail, behead her, blow up her house, and release a large python to eat her daughter.
WTOC reported that Glosser found the victim's house and built an explosive device with Kinsey, using Tannerite.
The witness told investigators that he saw a black SUV leaving the scene, which turned out to be Kinsi's car.
The police conducted a search of Kinsey and Glosser's home and seized their phones. Authorities found evidence of explosives and Glosser's diary.
The man was accused of a number of crimes, including:
- Illegal possession of explosives
- First-degree arson
- Pursuit
- The use of explosives to commit another criminal offense
- A conspiracy to use explosives to commit a crime
- Possession of an unregistered destructive device
Prosecutors stated that a conspiracy crime carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison, while using explosives to commit a criminal offense can result in up to 10 years in prison.
Kinsey is also facing additional charges for possession of firearms.
