The house was built between 1975 and 1989 for the French industrialist Pierre Bernard, and was later purchased by the designer Pierre Cardin to be used as a vacation home.

The majestic building covers an area of 1,200 square meters and is one of the classic examples of modern architecture. It features a unique structure of domes of various sizes and offers a panoramic hall, a reception room, and 10 rooms decorated by contemporary artists.

The interior of the Palace of the Chamber embodies a true artistic masterpiece, adorned with frescoes by Patrice Bretot, Jérôme Tisserand, Daniel Yu, François Chauvenet, and Gérard Le Cloarec.

In the past, the Palace of the Chamber has repeatedly served as a venue for fashion shows, including in 2008 and 2015. In 2008, Pierre Cardin presented his collection, and in 2016, the French designer Dior showcased his collection in this iconic house.

In 2015, French architect and scholar Odile Decq completed a five-year restoration of the Palace of Justice.

In 2017, the Palace of the Chamber was put up for sale for 350 million euros, which was one of the highest prices for European real estate.
