The "John Wick" movie trilogy is gearing up to expand its universe. Along with the release of "John Wick: Chapter 4" to audiences, a brief trailer for the upcoming mini-series titled "Continental" has been released. This series will be divided into three parts and will be available for streaming from September this year.

The trailer doesn't reveal much about the plot as it doesn't contain any dialog.

The hero will be rendered in the hellish setting of 1970s New York City to face a past he thought he had left behind.

"Winston embarks on a dangerous journey through the hotel's mysterious underworld in an attempt to take over the hotel and take the place he deserves," the synopsis continues.

Before the trailer premiered, social media shared a key image from the series: elevator buttons and a sign on the hotel door that reads, "Prepare to check in. "

The mini-series "Continental" will air on the Peacock platform in September.
