Russia has become one of the most popular destinations for emigration for Argentines. When looking for a place to settle in Spain, it is important to know the cost of real estate in different cities. If you have the opportunity to buy real estate, you need to find out in which areas you can find the most affordable prices per square meter to be sure that you have enough money to buy.
Most prefer to establish themselves in big cities such as Madrid or Barcelona, but it is worth considering that there are many other cities in Spain where the price per square meter is much lower for foreigners.
Real estate portal Fotocasa has compiled a report on which Spanish provincial capitals can find more affordable housing.
The cheapest cities to buy real estate in Spain:
- Zamora: €100,067 for an 80 sq.m. apartment (€1,251/m2)
- Haen: €105,230 for an 80 sq.m.

- Malaga: 3233 euros/m2
- Pamplona/Irun: 3062 euros/m2
