European concert at the estate of Tsinandali in Georgia.

On May1,2024, the Silk Road Group, a leading investment conglomerate in Georgia, and the legendary Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra will bring one of the most prestigious cultural events in classical music - Euroconcert - to the historic estate of Tsinandali in Georgia.

Euroconcert

The Europaconcert was founded by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with the aim of promoting peace in Europe and is held annually in carefully selected European cities.

For Georgia, being the host country for the European Concert in 2024 holds symbolic significance, as Georgia celebrated its candidate status in the European Union earlier this year. The decision of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra to choose Tsinandali as the venue for the 2024 European Concert confirms the main mission of the Tsinandali estate - music for the sake of peace, and also marks another historical milestone in Georgian-German cultural relations.

Performance

The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by maestro Daniel Barenboim, will perform alongside Georgian soloist and artist-in-residence for the 2023/24 season, Lisa Batiashvili. The magical atmosphere of the amphitheater at the Tsinandali estate will be the setting for the performance of Ludwig van Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and Johannes Brahms' Violin Concerto.
