FAITHVILLE, GA (Atlanta News First) - Acclaimed rapper, business owner and philanthropist Rick Ross hosted his second annual car and motorcycle show at his Georgia home on Saturday.

"It's probably the most unique event where black men come together and it's peaceful," said car enthusiast T.J. Webster. "Music, food, definitely artists connecting with different people. "

Ahead of the show, Fayette County residents filed a lawsuit to stop the car show due to noise and traffic congestion complaints.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The show began at 11:00 a.m. and is scheduled to run until 6:00 p.m. at the property near Highways 279 and 138 in Fayetteville. The annual show attracts thousands of car, motorcycle and music enthusiasts to his estate, which is known as the "Promised Land." Recently, residents of Fayette County filed a lawsuit to prevent Ross from being granted a permit to hold his event. They complained about traffic congestion and noise, hoping to have the show canceled.

Ross noted that his annual car and motorcycle show helps bring thousands of dollars and business to Georgia. He added that it helps bring people from all over the country to Georgia and is a positive event for citizens to enjoy.

Tickets cost $325, while VIP tickets cost $2,500. If you don't plan to visit, it's best to avoid the area near 279 and 138 in Fayette County, as traffic has already been experiencing congestion.

The self-described "Biggie Boss" has evolved from a Miami rap legend to a successful businessman, mogul, and innovator over the past nearly 20 years. He is best known for his hits such as "Hustlin", "Aston Martin Music", "We Takin Over" with T.I., Lil Wayne, Birdman, Akon, and DJ Khaled, "Hustle Hard" with Ace Hood and Lil Wayne, "I'm On One" with Lil Wayne and Drake, "Chevy Ridin High," "Pop That" with French Montana, Drake, and Lil Wayne, "Big Tyme" with the Swizz Beatz, "Made Men" with Drake, "Lemon Pepper" with Drake, "Run It," and many others.

In March, Ross performed at the State Farm Arena on the "Legendz of the Streetz Reloaded" tour.
