Idealista teams up with artificial intelligence and launches a service in Portugal to improve property description.

Popular real estate portal in Portugal, Idealista, offers a new opportunity to improve the description of a property when selling or renting. With the help of artificial intelligence (AI), users can edit the text they have written before publishing it. The description of a house or any other property plays an important role in explaining its characteristics and ensuring the transparency of the offer, facilitating interaction between potential buyers or tenants.

This service helps to include information that adds value to the property itself, the building and the surrounding area. Using this new "smart text" feature, Idealista offers professionals the opportunity to enhance their listing description with AI.

To activate the "improve text" button, you must provide the client with a description of at least 200 characters. After activating the service, a dialog box with two fields opens: one contains text written by a professional and the other is empty with a "create text" button. Clicking on this button generates a new text corresponding to the object characteristics, but with a more detailed description exceeding 500 characters.

The user can edit the proposed text before publishing. The artificial intelligence used by Idealista extracts the most important information from the description written by the client and the characteristics of the advertised object: the presence of an elevator or a garden, the number of rooms, etc.
