Italy: Lineup announced for La Prima Esta2023

For the second year running, Italy's most exciting festival, La Prima Estate, will take place. This time, the event will last two weeks - from June 16 to 25, 2023 - and will bring together on stage some of the most renowned musical performers in the exciting atmosphere of Lido di Camaiore on the Tuscan coast.

Week 1 (June 16-18)

Welcomes rap great and "King of New York" Nas, indie band Bon Iver and genre-defining electronic duo Bicep.

Week Two (June 23-25)

Indie rock band Alt-J and funk pioneers Jamiroquai will take the stage, and hip-hop super-producer Metro Boomin will close out the night.

In addition, Japanese Breakfast, Chet Faker, Domi & JD Beck, Kings Of Convenience, Guinevere, Just Mustard, Geolier, Bruno Belissimo and Studio Murena will also perform in one of Italy's most picturesque seaside towns.

La Prima Estate is the brainchild of the creators of the legendary Lucca Summer Festival, which attracted some of the world's most famous stars toTuscany. Each evening four international artists will perform on stage just 50 meters from the sea in the spectacular Bussola Domani Park in Lido di Camaiore, Versilia. Music is just the beginning at this festival, which combines unique experiences of food, art, local culture, nature, awareness and sport in a stunning setting - a combination of music, relaxation and fun.

Week 1 (June 15-17)

It will start with a performance by one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time, Nas, who will douse Tuscany in his world-famous rhymes. The hip-hop opener will also feature Geolier, one of the hottest names in Italian rap. On Saturday, you'll have the chance to enjoy the distorted, lo-fi drums and ethereal synthesizers of Bon Iver performing masterpieces from their 17-year discography of indie-folk on the shores of Tuscany. They will be joined by melancholic indie-pop Japanese Breakfast, Norwegian indie-folk-pop duo Kings of Convenience and classic folk-rock with elements of Italian music Guinevere. Closing the first week will be the bright shine of Belfast's music house, Bicep, performing their euphoric and melodic dancefloor music.

Week Two (June 23-25)

It will start with a performance by Alt-J, who will amaze Italian audiences with their original style, embracing indie pop and art-rock folktronica.

La Prima Estate is not just an incredible music festival, it is also an unforgettable vacation in one of the most picturesque places in Europe. Before the live performances begin, the festival offers a huge range of activities based on the culture and beauty of the local area, and completely takes over the entire town of Lido di Camaiore.
