Inside Shakira's home: a Barcelona residence and a Miami mansion
Shakira breaks up with Pique and moves to Miami
Shakira, the Colombian pop icon, has been forced to part ways with former Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique and move to Miami, taking all her possessions with her, including her luxury car collection.
And as if that wasn't enough, it was recently revealed that the singer will "have to pay" an incredible 12.4 million pounds ($15.5 million) to move all those cars.
Shakira's car collection
Shakira's luxury car collection includes 10 supercars. These include models such as the Mercedes S-Class costing around £101,000 ($125,000) and the Mercedes SL550 costing around £92,000 ($114,700). The other cars in the collection, while not as expensive, are no less glamorous.
Shakira is willing to pay for transportationShakira doesn't want to part with any of her cars and is ready to pay 14 million euros (£12,400/$15,500) to transport the collection 4684 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. While the singer's fortune, estimated at around 240 million pounds ($300 million), may well cover these costs, expenses have been mounting since the divorce.
Reportedly, Shakira has already moved her furniture and musical instruments to Miami and is preparing to enroll her two sons in the city's expensive private schools.
We wish her good luck...
