The data provided in the articles indicate that Israeli companies have acquired about 25,000 dunams of land in the TRNC, and ownership of the land plots is rapidly shifting to Israelis. According to available data, nearly 2,000 companies in Northern Cyprus have Israeli applicants among their ranks.

According to the laws of the TRNC, foreign companies are allowed to acquire no more than 500 square meters of land. However, if more than 51% of the company's shares are owned by local residents, this limit is lifted, and foreigners can freely continue purchasing land in unlimited amounts.

In a published article by former Admiral Yayci, it is noted that the demand from Israelis and other foreign citizens for purchasing real estate in the TRNC is so high that there are no more available plots in areas such as Gazimagusa and Iskele.

This situation has led the American magazine Forbes to publish an article highlighting the importance of purchasing real estate in the Dipkarpaz area, pointing to a new wave of interest in land plots on the eastern edge of the TRNC, which hold strategic significance. It has also become known that some companies operating on behalf of foreign citizens have begun active work in this direction.

According to data from Yayci, 2,672 permits for foreign nationals to acquire real estate were issued in 2022. He also noted that this statistic does not include foreigners who obtained citizenship of the TRNC, as well as companies with a 51% share of local citizens that have effectively taken control of the land. Yayci urged the authorities to take action, emphasizing that this issue should be addressed.

Zurlu Tör, a deputy from the National Unity Party in Nicosia. It is confirmed that Israelis are actively purchasing land not only on the Karpas Peninsula but also in the Gaziveren area and around the Erjan Airport. However, local officials involved in selling land to foreigners are effectively ignoring security aspects. Additionally, there is information that Israelis have acquired land totaling a thousand dunams around the Geçitkale Airport, which has become a base for Turkish drones. This fact raises further questions regarding security issues and the oversight of foreign investments in the Northern Cyprus real estate market.
