Kansas City: Travis Kelsey's property is decorated with careful Halloween ribbon

On Halloween night, Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift didn't hand out candy outside their home in Kansas City, Missouri. Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show that the NFL star surrounded his home with caution tape to seemingly scare away visitors during the festivities. The tape completely covered the athlete's front yard while costumed children walked by with bags of candy.

According to the publication, a security guard told the trick-or-treaters and their parents: "No one is home today." Representatives for Kelsey and Swift have not yet responded to Page Six's request for comment. It's still unclear whether the Tight End and Lavender Mist singer was actually trapped in their $1 million home.

Page Six confirmed last month,' 'that 34-year-old Kelsey has purchased a new $6 million mansion in a gated community, seeking more privacy in the wake of his newfound romance with the 33-year-old Grammy winner. According to the Zillow website, the luxury home has six bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a waterfall, pool and miniature golf course.

"It's a new level of fame that soccer players don't usually' 'collide,'" Travis' brother, Jason Kelsey, told NBC Sports in an Oct. 22 interview. Also alarming to Travis' parents, Donna and Ed, is the attention they are drawing around their youngest son. A source familiar with the case told TMZ on Tuesday that the attention is weighing heavily on the family and they are "a little concerned" for his safety.
