"We don't just build villas; we create unique living environments," said Karl Lagerfeld CEO Pier Paolo Rigi, who promised to "bring Karl's unique idea of exclusive living to Dubai. By blending artistic design with the art of real estate, we look forward to offering an unrivaled experience. "

This summer saw the opening of the luxurious 271-room Karl Lagerfeld Hotel in Macau, which had been years in the making. It was entirely designed by the late German designer, who combined classic Chinese design with a modern Western aesthetic.

Lagerfeld, no stranger to the Middle East, held a show for Chanel's 2014 cruise collection on an island less than half a mile off the coast of Dubai.

Taraf,'''which was launched earlier this year as a new company within Yas Holding, has recently commenced construction of a residential development on Palm Jumeirah called Luce.

'We are proud to announce a partnership with a globally recognized brand that will not only add unparalleled value to Taraf's next residential development, but will also raise Taraf's profile in this competitive sector in the UAE,' commented Low Ping, Group CEO of Yas Holding. She noted that Karl Lagerfeld's distinctive design will create "aesthetically unique and visually exciting exclusive villas".
