According to the new rules that come into effect on January 1, in Germany, single people will only be able to rent a one-room apartment, while couples will be allowed to rent a two-room apartment. In this regard, Nenad Đorđević, the deputy chairman of the Real Estate Agents Group of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, and Darko Stamenković, the general director of the Banking Supervision Sector, spoke on the program "Redaction" on the Kurir channel.

Stamenkovich: The increase in interest rates has had a significant impact - As for the state of the real estate market, I would say it is influenced solely by the real estate market itself - supply and demand. According to the latest data from the state geodetic administration, only 7 percent of the total real estate volume was purchased with a loan, which means 18 percent of residential properties.

Most of our loans are indexed to Euroibor and the decisions of the European Central Bank.
