Kenny Rogers'\' former Georgian estate is up for sale.

From one country estate to another. Some time ago, the estate of famous country singer Kenny Rogers, located in Athens, Georgia, was sold to Wes Adams, a wealthy rancher and real estate investor.

In February, Adams passed away and the huge 973-acre estate, called Beaver Dam Farms, was back on the market for an impressive $20 million - more than 100 times the current median home value in Athens.

Located in the heart of Georgia, Rogers designed and built this estate for his family and entertaining famous friends, not squeezing costs while building the huge property.

Rogers has''s habit of buying homes and then putting them back on the real estate market a few years later. According to the Wall Street Journal, his last real estate transaction was the sale of an Atlanta mansion in 2008 - it was the 10th home the singer had purchased, renovated and sold again.

When Rogers sold Beaver Dam Farms to the Adams family, he left the bulk of the furniture and trim; much of the interior is still intact.
