K. Kiamas: The average real estate buyer is now a tenant.

The company Upstreet specializes in managing short-term rental properties, offering stylish spaces combined with quality hotel services for stays ranging from one day to an entire year. Additionally, the company provides comprehensive services for property owners and investors looking to maximize their income from short-term rentals. Konstantinos Kiamas, the founder and CEO of Upstreet, discussed the company's activities and the overall situation in the real estate market in Greece during an interview on the Μονόκερο channel. He emphasized that the real estate market situation is linked to the country emerging from a crisis period during which no construction or renovations took place. Due to changes in the economic profile of households, the average property buyer is now a renter. As a result, the market is characterized by a high level of ownership, which means there is a lack of rental supply, posing a negative factor.
At the same time, more and more people are looking for quality apartments for rent, which, unfortunately, are in short supply.
