He emphasized that the real estate market situation is linked to the country emerging from a crisis period during which no construction or renovations took place. Due to changes in the economic profile of households, the average property buyer is now a renter. As a result, the market is characterized by a high level of ownership, which means there is a lack of rental supply, posing a negative factor.

At the same time, more and more people are looking for quality apartments for rent, which, unfortunately, are in short supply.

According to Mr. Kiamas, there is an excess of real estate in Greece. He noted that owners do not have the financial means to renovate outdated properties. This leads to a large number of homes remaining closed. Kiamas also emphasized the role of technology in the company's operations, stating that without it, Upstreet would not be able to function. Currently, the company is considering expanding its activities to other cities in Greece, such as Thessaloniki and Crete.
