Corum is increasingly investing in the hospitality sector

Investment company Corum Asset Management has acquired the new Ibis Styles hotel in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from Dutch developer and asset manager Foruminvest. The amount of the deal was not disclosed, but it is believed that it was probably the largest transaction in the country's hotel real estate market in 2023. According to the Dutch Real Estate Registry, the deal was valued at more than €50 million.

The 250-room Ibis Styles hotel is located near the main entrance of the Ahoy exhibition center and is fully leased by HR Group for a minimum term of 25 years. Corum is also expanding in the hotel sector in other countries. The Rotterdam deal comes a month after Corum acquired the Cavern Quarter complex in Liverpool, UK, on behalf of Corum XL SCPI. The project' 'Includes the 123-room Ibis Styles Liverpool Centre Dale Street hotel, commercial space leased to Tesco and a 281-space parking lot occupied by Dutch operator Q-Park.

Corum: a powerful tool for saving and investing

Corum Investments, which entered the Portuguese market in 2014, opening a branch in Lisbon in 2019, has more than 200 commercial properties in 17 European countries and Canada, of which 16 are in Portugal.

Corum acquires real estate around the world, exclusively rents it out' 's companies and distributes potential income from tenant rentals on a monthly basis. It is also responsible for the management of all properties, both in terms of maintenance and relations with the companies' tenants, in order to establish trusting relationships and long-term contracts.
