Chris Evans confirms his marriage to Alba Baptista - Los Angeles Times

Captain America did get a new partner: his wife, Alba Baptista. "Avengers: Finale" star Chris Evans confirmed Saturday that he's taking on the role of wedding planner even in the sequels: he got married to the "Warrior" series actor and now that all the preparations for the event are done, he's enjoying life as a newlywed.
Wedding planning
"I got married," Evans confirmed to the crowd gathered at the New York Comic Con panel. We can tell from fan videos from the convention that it elicited howls of delight from the audience. The Marvel star added: "It was really great. "
"We had two ceremonies. One took place on the East Coast and the other in Portugal, as my wife is Portuguese," he said, describing the events as "wonderful and beautiful. "
What wasn't so great? Planning.
"Planning a wedding is not easy," he added. "For those of you who are married, you know it takes a lot of energy, but now that we're past that, we're just enjoying life and getting ready for fall, my favorite time of year. It's just the best time of the year.... Now we're just relaxing, enjoying life and reflecting.".

Wedding in PortugalFew details were known about the wedding in Portugal. Representatives for Evans and Baptista did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Times.
Baptista is a Portuguese actress known for her work in films and TV series such as "Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris," "Patrick," "The Child" and "The Warrior." The bride, 26, and groom, 42, have been together for about two years but have not announced their engagement.
Participating in a Spotlight panel at a fan convention
Although the SAG-AFTRA strike continues, Evans participated in the Spotlight panel at the fan convention, a weekend that also featured stars from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - Karen Gillan, Chukwudi Iwuji, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn and Pom Klementieff. But like many of the participating actors, Evans didn't talk about his Marvel movies or upcoming projects, which may explain why he was so willing to share personal information.
The actor, known for "Butterknives" and "Ghosts," also talked about his famous dog Dodger, his love of Halloween and Christmas, and his desire to return to Broadway, according to Deadline, which reported that Marvel had nothing to do with those actors' appearance Saturday at NYCC.
"I'm looking for [a play]," Evans told the crowd. (SAG-AFTRA theater actors avoided a strike in July, and some actors starring in movies and TV shows are considering acting on the theater stage at this time).
"I'd like to try to find something for next year, but it's hard because you find something you like that could be great, but like I said, when you're in it, you're in it," Evans said. "[A play] usually runs for three, four or five months. So it should not only be something you enjoy, but something you are willing to explore from different angles every night for a very long time. "
