The lazy title remains in Montenegro, the competition continues, the Serbs are giving up.
In Montenegro, the rolling competition continues, Saturday - the44th day. There are still three participants left, who are competing for a prize of1000 euros. Since all three are from Montenegro, the title of the laziest will remain in this country..
In the ethnographic village of Brezna near Pluzhine, three participants, two women and one man, are competing for first place in the felting competition. As manager Boris Krunich explains, they have been lying down for44 days, and recently they reached1000 hours.
"Participants organized a small celebration during the break, so we reached1000 hours. There are two residents of Niksic and one resident of Mojkovac left. Yesterday, your/our participant from Serbia gave up, couldn't go on. Therefore, the title will stay in Montenegro; the biggest slacker will be a person from Montenegro," Krunic said on the "New Day" program. He also explained the motives behind the perseverance of these three individuals. "Money is no longer the motivator; it's a psychological game now, and the sum of money has lost its meaning," he added.
"Participants usually have three breaks during the day, each lasting fifteen minutes. 'They go to the bathroom, use each of the three breaks to the maximum - they take a shower, wash their hair, exercise a little, go jogging,' he says. When asked about how everything fits into such short15-minute breaks, he answers: 'When you have limited time, everything is possible if you want it, they themselves did not believe it. But they take a shower, smell like angels,' he joked."
"Foreign TV channels also showed interest in this competition.

"What do the most persistent "lazy" people say? In the rolling game, Lydia Markovich (23 years old), Gordana Filipovic (36 years old) from Niksic, and Filip Knezevic (23 years old) from Moikovac are left. "I've never felt so good, I took a shower, came back after the break so that people wouldn't worry," says Filip Knezevic to N1. He also says that he uses the15-minute evening break for walks and running. "I also talk to colleagues, read, talk to relatives, time flies, so I don't feel like we've been here so long. Family and friends are surprised, they didn't think I would stay so long, and in the last10 days, they support me," Knezevic said."."
She also says that what she misses the most is her family and children. "They can visit us, and it gives us strength because they are close to us. I don't need anything else, this is true rest. I have two children, a home, responsibilities, this is real relaxation for me, and I don't need anything else except my children. My family tells me not to give up, they say - rest and don't give up until you are completely rested," - said this resident of Niksic.
