The Best Wine Tourism Destination of 2024

Earlier this month, the World Network of Great Wine Capitals announced the 2024 Best Wine Tourism Destination awards for Bordeaux. This year's winners of the eight categories (see below), chosen from 23 finalists, were announced at a ceremony at the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry building on Place de la Bourse.

The winners show how open Bordeaux has become, and not just for visiting classic cellars. The eclectic initiatives show how innovative winemakers are becoming in sharing their world. It's also a great network for sharing ideas about wine tourism, innovation, education and sustainability among the winners.

Winners from all''regions in seven categories (Architecture & Landscape, Art & Culture, Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences, Wine Tourism Restaurants, Accommodation, Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices and Wine Tourism Services), as well as a surprise jury choice, will compete in the international final in Lausanne next month (November). The winners will also compete for the Public Choice prize, which will be decided by the public in an online vote.
