Many of the films we are discussing today possess an intangible sensuality, as they are often deeply sensual and emphasize the idea of cooking as a "language of love." But not everything here is subtly erotic; there is also a profound human connection - the reunion of parents and children, sibling rivalry, the testing of friendships, and enduring companionship.
