A small heroic dog dies while warning a family about the presence of a snake in their home in Bacolod.

According to information provided by GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas on the program "Saksi," a small dog in Bacolod will be remembered for its bravery when it saved its owners from danger. A Shih Tzu named Zee was sleeping next to its owner, but in the early hours of Sunday, it was awakened by a distressing squeal when it noticed a snake that had entered the house. Barking incessantly, Zee managed to wake everyone up, giving them the chance to spot the reptile. Local authorities gathered, caught the snake, and handed it over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Unfortunately, after Zee was bitten by a snake, he passed away.
