The global giant in the real estate agency industry acquires the company David Lee and launches it in the United Kingdom.
The international real estateagency Iad acquired the platform of the self-employed agency David Lee estate agents for an undisclosed amount and is using the business to launch in the British market.
The new proposal includes sales, rentals, and property management, and the deal gives Iad an immediate presence in the market.
David Lee was founded by Lee O'Brien and David Kirby in2004, and the acquisition will lead to rebranding as Iad, with Lee O'Brien taking the position of CEO of the expanding British business.
David Kirby will become the "Head of the Constellation" and will lead the existing team of 21 agents as the first Iad agents focused on selling homes in the UK.
The deal will also allow "super agent" Nicolas Le Ni-Clark to return from France to the UK to assist the management team in its growth.
Le Ni-Clark will become the first "sponsor" of Iad, a term describing an agent who helps with development by encouraging and mentoring new agents.
Jason Bull, former Chief Operating Officer of Easyproperty, has joined Iad as the Head of the Coaching and Training program and will lead the Online University program to support agents in their growth.
Iad has an annual turnover of over 500 million pounds and 20,000 partner agents, and is already successfully operating in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and Mexico.
The model offers partner agents a commission of up to 87.8%. Agents can also earn significant amounts by bringing in other agents to Iad through "revenue sharing."
Existing Iad agents around the world have already created networks of over 500 agents through revenue sharing.
Clement Delpirou (main photo) is the president of Iad on an international scale and says: "The UK is a key country for our expansion, as it is the fourth largest market in the world and one of the most valuable in Europe.
Delpiru wants Iad to become the dominant real estateagency throughout the UK.
He adds: "We will achieve this simply by becoming the most attractive business for quality agents, not only with a high level of commission and revenue sharing but also with real support and a unique approach to revenue distribution."
Lee O'Brien, CEO of Iad UK, says: "There is a significant opportunity for a large and reliable player to lead the development of the self-employed model in this country, as we have seen in the US, Europe, and Australia - but not here yet."
Lee O'Brien, the Executive Director of the UK, said, "David Kirby and I have laid a solid foundation with our personalized approach to agent recruitment and support over the past few years, and we have been looking for the 'rocket fuel' to take this to the highest level."
"Our decision to strike a deal with Iad was obvious in terms of potential, and we are very pleased to lead Iad's expansion in the UK now."
IAD UK will operate from its office in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire.
