Montenegro opens the House of Football.
On the day Montenegro celebrated the 10th anniversary of its independence following the referendum on May 21, 2006, the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG) opened its new headquarters – the House of Football in the capital, Podgorica. The opening ceremony was attended by guests including the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, UEFA First Vice-President Angel Maria Villar Llona, and delegates from national associations across Europe.
“Thanks to the financial support from UEFA and FIFA, we have built the House of Football as a new stage in the development of our football.”
- FSCG president Dejan Savicevic said. "A huge thank you should be expressed to the municipality of Podgorica for providing the site for the construction of our house."Montenegro has been a member of UEFA since 2007."

- The mayor of Podgorica, Slavoljub Stjepovic, added.
The New Football House is an administrative building with an area of 3,784 square meters and is located near the national football training center, which was built in 2008.

Savicevic emphasized that the House of Football is one of several projects aimed at developing football in Montenegro.
