GEORGIA- Homes made from shipping containers have existed since the early 2000s, becoming popular both within the "tiny house" movement and due to the ready supply of building materials, as containers accumulated in ports.

They are highly durable and unique, which is why these container homes have become popular among people who seek to simplify their lives by adopting a more sustainable and minimalist lifestyle. Often, they are a more affordable option than traditionally built houses, while also recycling existing resources. Their steel shells are resistant to humid and salty marine environments, making them more resilient to weather conditions compared to traditional cladding materials.

But not all container homes are the same. Some of them are private residences, while others are simple secluded retreats. This week in the "Home Prices" section, we will take a look at container homes in California, Georgia, and Michigan.

All windows are made of fiberglass with a black steel finish, creating a modern and cohesive look throughout the house. The living space harmoniously connects with the surrounding area through a La Cantina sliding steel door and an outdoor shower, adding an element of relaxation and natural beauty.
