Muda House, Portugal

Muda House is a family vacation home designed for gatherings of grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. In the initial brief, the clients proposed a very interesting spatial organization. The request was to build a house consisting of 3 blocks: a main block with one bedroom and a small living room for the grandparents, and two similar blocks for their children and grandchildren, each with two bedrooms. The real Portuguese home lives in the living room, where all spaces converge and connect, with an emphasis on transparency and light. By using glass, the interior space opens up to the outside.
