Brigitte Bardot has become the latest French celebrityBrigitte Bardot has become the latest French celebrity to speak out about the family conflict surrounding the legacy of late singer Johnny Hallyday.
In a radio interview, the movie legend urged Halliday's widow Laetitia, who is his main heir, to return some of the money to his eldest children. Singer David Halliday and actress Laura Smet, who got nothing, are contesting their father's will. Johnny Halliday died in December of lung cancer at the age of 74.
Bardo said on French radio Europe 1 on Saturday:
"I am disgusted.

If I was Laetitia, I would have handled this situation. I would have given David and Laura what they''s singer, stated, "I don't understand how children can be disinherited." Actor Jean Renault, a friend of both Johnny and Laetitia, urged the family not to give in to "hatred". Singer Sylvie Vartan, Halliday's first wife and David's mother, said that during their divorce in 1980, she asked Johnny to give her share of their home in favor of her son.
