The Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, located near Čačak, is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination in Serbia. This area has always been renowned for its stunning natural beauty, mountain peaks, a lake, and medieval monasteries. However, thanks to significant investments made recently, Ovčar Banja has completely transformed, and according to the opinions of locals and visitors, this change has only been for the better. Given the enormous tourist potential of this area, the demand for real estate and its prices have sharply increased.

Previously, apartments in this gorge were hardly sold for ten thousand euros, and to be honest, no one was looking to buy them. But lately, more and more people are coming and showing interest in real estate in the Ovčar-Kablar gorge, which is now three times more expensive - up to 30,000 euros. Land plots and estates in the Kablar villages, which used to be sold for pennies, are now mostly no longer for sale. "The price of a plot that used to cost 30 euros is now hard to buy even for 300," say the residents of Ovčar Banja.

A pier has been built on Lake Mežuvršje, capable of accommodating a large number of vessels and boats, allowing visitors to take rides on the famous catamarans and view the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge from the water.

Soon, the first eco-friendly tram will also be introduced here, which will be a special attraction. In Ovčar Banja, park areas have been improved, children's playgrounds have been set up, and an amphitheater has been built for organizing large summer programs. The Nature Center has become a true landmark, welcoming many tourists daily. A parking lot has also been created on Mount Kablar, accommodating over 200 cars and five large tourist buses, as well as a new two-kilometer road at the top of Kablar, which serves as a foundation for the development of the hotel sector at the summit of this mountain. An entrance gate will be built on the highway as a symbol of welcome, as well as a tourist signal indicating that you have entered the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, a viewpoint on Mount Kablar, and a health center in Ovčar Banja as part of the development of health tourism. Of course, the issue of water supply will be resolved, and a new sewage network will be created. Road construction will continue, including the one leading to the summit of Mount Kablar, which will be fully completed," said the director of the Čačak Tourist Organization, Vojin Jakovljević. The construction of the Miloš Veliki highway is extremely important for the development of this region, so the unique beauty of the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge is now accessible to everyone who wants to enjoy the unique combination of natural beauty, resort and religious tourism, or simply breathe in the fresh mountain air and feel the hospitality of the residents of Kablar.
