Nicole Kidman Once Stayed in This Captivating Villa in Mallorca. Now She Could Be Yours for $69 Million.
It all makes sense that actress Nicole Kidman chose to reside in the Beverly Hills of Majorca while filming Paramount+ Studios' new television series, "Lioness," alongside Zoe Saldana and Morgan Freeman. The architecturally impressive Villa Solitaire in the prestigious Son Vida neighborhood of Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands off the coast of Spain, was her choice of accommodation. Kidman has stayed in this expansive hillside villa as a guest of developer Jens Liebhauser, who is also the owner of Austria's five-star Zhero Hotel Ischgl-Kappl and a Ferrari Challenge racer. And now this property could be yours.
The villa offered by Engel & Völkers Son Vida is for sale for 69 million dollars (or 65 million euros). It was designed by renowned Italian architect Matteo Thun, who created an impressive house with a glass facade to take advantage of the magnificent views. This home took almost eight years to build and was designed to resemble the sails of a boat floating in the air. Son Vida is not only the oldest neighborhood in Mallorca, but is also known for its prestigious and expensive estates. Views to the south include the capital, Palma, as well as the Mediterranean Sea.
The house has 24,757 square feet and consists of seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. It has a wonderful modern design with Italian furniture as well as limestone floors in every room, quarried from the Antequera quarries in Malaga, Spain. The house is surrounded by fully glazed walls; the press of a button on the first floor causes the glass walls to slide into pockets and open to the patio, providing a seamless interweaving of indoor and outdoor space. The villa has four floors, the main floor accommodating open-plan living areas including a recessed conversation area, kitchen-dining room, formal dining room, informal dining room, bar and wine cellar.
